The county town of Pasewalk in Mecklenburg Vorpommern is a central point for economic and cultural affairs in the Uecker-Randow region. Pasewalk still remains however a compact and versatile town where almost all places may be reached with a short walk. There are around 12,200 residents who enjoy a close community without the feeling of being restricted. Starting out from any point in the town, one can quickly reach the quiet, wide open and gentle landscape of Vorpommern. Long walks, cycling tours or boating trips offer relaxation and rejuvenation.
