The county town of Pasewalk in Mecklenburg Vorpommern is a central point for economic and cultural affairs in the Uecker-Randow region. Pasewalk still remains however a compact and versatile town where almost all places may be reached with a short walk. There are around 12,200 residents who enjoy a close community without the feeling of being restricted. Starting out from any point in the town, one can quickly reach the quiet, wide open and gentle landscape of Vorpommern. Long walks, cycling tours or boating trips offer relaxation and rejuvenation. If it?s the excitement of the city you are looking for then the near by Polish port of Szczecin may be easily reached by car or also with the local bus and train services. Pasewalk is also a great starting point for a wide variety of interesting things to experience as the town offers many possibilities: There are clubs and associations offering spirited public activities and through the engagement of the local agenda groups there is a high standard offered to lovers of music and art. In addition there are the small shops in the town centre to tempt visitors to go on a shopping spree?..
In the town of Pasewalk there is of course still a great deal to be done and the support of the regions economy is one of the main factors. Through the towns excellent geographical location there are all the prerequisites to act as a centralised point in the eastern expansion of the European Union especially since the transport connections are already highly developed. The commercial areas, the new industrial locations and the technology and innovation park are highly competitive on an international scale and offer investors extensive possibilities to develop and flourish.
