Pasewalk aims to further develop the towns centre as an attractive residential area. In addition to apartment blocks there are also apartments in older buildings which have undergone extensive renovation and modernisation to make them real eye catching objects.
Further developments over recent years in the towns centre are the comfortable newly built family homes set in pleasant quiet little spaces or as terraced housing.
The planning of residential areas with attractive leisure and recreation areas nearby has been one of the main aims of the towns? development planners over recent years.
To improve and enlarge upon the recreational possibilities which are already available is a particular point of interest that the town aims to highlight and a good start has been made by following the course of the River Uecker as it passes through the town.
Another aspect of the town which is on the list for improvement and development is the east area where the blocks of flats and service roads will receive the additional attention required to bring the living standards there up to par. The towns two main residential letting agents are the Wohnungsbaugesellschaft Pasewalk GmbH and the Wohnungsbaugenossenschaft Pasewalk e.G. (Housing associations) are also investing in improvements to the residential infrastructure and can offer housing at competitive rates.
In addition to the plots for single family houses there are also interesting possibilities for investment with regard to the restoration and renovation of old buildings for conservation.
